In keeping with Taxshax's user-friendly mode, to become a member and continue to use Taxshax effectively, there are no special requirements.
Anybody with following resources can use Taxshax easily
A desktop or a laptop computer
An internet connection with a minimum speed of 56 Kbps
A compatible browser IE 5 or above, NS 7 or above, Mozilla FireFox 1.5 or above
Enable cookies on your browser
Enable Cookies on your browser by one of these options:
1. Go to Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced tab. Check the option "Always Accept Cookies."
2. Go to Tools/ Internet Options/ Security tab. Click on "Custom". Enable Cookies on this screen.
Make sure to allow pop-ups from the site www.taxshax.com which may be blocked by a pop-up blocker or a toolbar from sites such as MSN or Yahoo.
To allow windows to open it in their appropriate sizes
1. Go to Tools/ Internet Options/Security/Custom Level. Click on "Miscellaneous". Enable option script-initiated windows without size or position constraints.

Who is eligible to use Taxshax?
Indian citizens, residing in India, with income from salary and any or all of the following sources: Salary, House Property, Agriculture, Capital Gains or Income from other sources qualify to use this package.

What are the payment options?
While registering with Taxshax you can make online payment using your Visa or Master credit cards. You can also send a cheque or Demand Draft to the address displayed on the website. Activation of your account is subject to realization of cheques/ credit card.

Who do I call to answer any questions I may have?
"Contact Us" link under Support displays our office address, phone number (020-66261814, 020-66261816) and support email ID (email@example.com). It also has a link to Raise a Query. You can look for the answer to your question on Frequently Asked Questions web page. If your query is not found there, you can click on Post Your Query link to enter your question.

Can I apply for PAN online?
You can also apply for PAN online through the NSDL-TIN website https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/index.html by selecting the option "Apply for PAN online". You can then follow the detailed guidelines and instructions provided on the website for you to complete and submit your form online.
Q. 5 :
Can I e-file my income tax returns without quoting a PAN?
No, your return of income would not be accepted without a valid PAN being quoted. In case you have applied for a PAN number at the time of filing the return you should mention so in the form.
